A mutual love of Roy Orbison, The Shangri-Las and horror films led to the formation of Melbourne Cans back in 2013. Their 2014 debut album, 'Moonlight Malaise' took a journey into the darkness of a violent dreamscape and attempted to turn it into a pop record.
They returned in 2018 with the release of a second LP, 'Heat of the Night' - an apocalyptic romance set in a city on fire.
