Heathcote Blue is an alias of Perth-born artist Lyndon Blue, who makes music across numerous genres and names (Leafy Suburbs, Solar Barge and more) - meanwhile playing as a live member of Methyl Ethel and the Darren Hanlon band. Under the "Heathcote Blue" moniker, Lyndon spins contemplative folk songs inspired by the likes of Sibylle Baier, Nick Drake and Mount Eerie. Since 2014, the project has given rise to a self-titled EP, a full-length album ("Stray Dog Daily"), and appeared on bills with favourites including Stella Donnelly, Oliver Mann, Sodastream and Nadia Reid.
